Pre-Construction
Initial Meeting: Our initial meeting can be wherever you prefer, however, our venue of choice is the Bawcom Real Estate office where we have access to pictures, samples, floor plans, design tools, etc. We recommend that you bring your real estate agent with you to this meeting. It is not required, but very helpful to have already spoken to a lender and know what kind of a loan you qualify for, as we have many different floor plans which span quite a large range of prices. During this initial meeting we will go over floor plans, building lots, and discuss things such as our estimated start and completion date for construction. We can also discuss things like color choices, materials, and any customized floor plan changes.
During Construction
Priority: Once we begin construction on your home, we don’t stop until it is complete. Your house is our top priority. That means we won’t bump it behind another home that we started after yours. There will rarely be a day when somebody is not working on your home. Timeliness: We pride ourselves on being the fastest builder in the area. We have a policy of getting in, getting done, and getting out. House size and complexity plays a factor in how long it takes to build a home, however, our average build time from start to finish is around seven weeks. We build year round; rain, snow, or shine. Customer Involvement: During construction we will involve you directly in many phases of the building process. Not only do we allow you to choose many of the materials that go into the house, but we involve you in things such as where the home will sit on the lot, and where you want lights and outlets to be located. Professionalism: Our jobsites are always kept clean, our crew is courteous and friendly, and we strive for nothing short of excellence in the quality of our construction.
Post-Construction
Final Walkthrough: After the completion of your home, we have a final walkthrough where you, your agent, and our project manager inspect the entire house, both inside and out, to make sure everything meets or exceeds your expectations. After-the-Sale Service: We provide a one year warranty on all our homes which covers major defects in construction and materials. After your warranty expires, if a problem arises having to do with the construction of your home which you feel was no fault of your own, we will work with you and do our best to make it right. Keep in mind that we truly value our reputation. Many of our clients have been referred to us because of the outstanding work and service that we offer.
